Senior Director, Business Development

JULIE WEBB has extensive experience in pharmacy practice, association management, pharmaceutical sales, and educational meeting planning.   As the Director of Business Development with ASHP ADVANTAGE, she is responsible for coordinating sales, promotion and marketing activities for ASHP ADVANTAGE.

Prior to joining ASHP ADVANTAGE, she served as the Director of the ASHP Section of Home Care Practitioners, a membership component group of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Her responsibilities included managing all aspects of the group including, but not limited to, overseeing the publication of the Section’s quarterly newsletter, Home Care Highlights, development and implementation of educational symposia, planning educational programs for home care practitioners at ASHP’s national meetings, and overseeing professional practice issues related to home care practice. She has served on numerous ASHP staff committees, including the ASHP Meeting Programming Committee, and served as a contributing editor and reviewer for the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP).

Julie’s pharmacy practice experience includes home, acute care, and veterinary medicine. She has also served as a consultant to the home infusion industry.  Julie has previously served as a pharmaceutical sales specialist with expertise in infectious diseases.

Julie is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and she completed an ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
