ELIZABETH RIEL coordinates and implements educational activities for ASHP ADVANTAGE. Elizabeth brings to ASHP ADVANTAGE five years of experience in the medical communications industry where she has held positions in project management and production. Most recently, she served as Program Manager for INNOVIA Education Institute where she coordinated the development of live CME symposia, multimedia programs, and publications including monographs, journal supplements, web symposia, pod casts and self-study programs.

Elizabeth also has extensive experience in the planning and implementation of promotional activities in a variety of marketing-related areas. In this capacity, she created and executed plans for advisory panel meetings, roundtables, web seminars and print activities. Previously, Elizabeth was a Traffic Manager for City Television in Baltimore, Maryland where she served as a media planner for nationwide television campaigns. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies-Mass Media from West Virginia University.
