Dr. Taylor is the founder and chairman of Taylor Enterprises,
Inc. where he is responsible for the development of
the VarTran®, Change-Point Analyzer, and Sampling
Plan Analyzer software packages as well as providing
consulting and training on the Six Sigma approach and
tools including Robust Design, Tolerance Analysis, Design
of Experiments, Acceptance Sampling, and Statistics.
He is the leading expert on acceptance sampling in the
pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostics industries.
His articles on selecting statistically valid sampling
plans have become standards in the industry and are
used by the FDA in its new inspector training. Dr. Taylor
is also a leading expert in Process Validation.

Mr. Mirtallo is a specialist in pharmacy nutrition
support. As such, he has conducted research on the stability,
compatibility, and efficacy of TPN formulations, evaluated
new procedures of TPN admixture, and studied quality
control methods for use with automated compounding devices.
Mr. Mirtallo is very knowledgeable on the pharmacist’s
role in nutrition support. He is intimately involved
in the public policy and standards issues related to
pharmacy nutritional support professional practice.
He is currently a member of the 2004 Task Force for
the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition
(ASPEN) Clinical Guidelines on Safe Practices for Parenteral
Nutrition Formulas.
