Turning the Tide on Serious Gram-negative Infections in Hospitals

In this activity, common mechanisms of drug resistance in Gram-negative microorganisms and antibiotic options for treating difficult-to-treat Gram-negative bacterial infections are described. Antimicrobial stewardship strategies that pharmacists can use to help ensure appropriate drug selection and use are also discussed.
