CE in the Mornings Educational Initiative Overview
This educational initiative provides an opportunity for pharmacists to expand their knowledge of four important topics, as well as to learn tips for incorporating evidence-based information into clinical practice.

Web-based Activities
Captures the presentations from the live symposium for those unable to attend the Midyear Clinical Meeting. Each home-study activity is approved for 1 hour of CPE (Individuals claiming CPE credit for the live symposia are ineligible to claim credit). Choose from among the following continuing pharmacy education (CPE) opportunities to expand your knowledge of the management of dyslipidemia, adult immunization, type 2 diabetes, and antimicrobial stewardship. These activities are available March 1, 2010 through February 28, 2011 as web-based symposia and podcasts.

  • Examining the Benefits of Cardiovascular Risk Reduction in Primary Prevention: Focus on Dyslipidemia
  • Preventable Diseases 2010: Implementing Health-System Strategies for Adult Immunization
  • Best Practices in the Management of Type 2 Diabetes: Improving Glycemic Control
