Because pharmacy residents receive little if any formal training in career management, ASHP has put together a conference with nationally-recognized speakers to provide residents with practical strategies for a successful career including:

Interviewing and negotiating offers—pearls of wisdom
Stress management—strategies for achieving balance in your professional and personal life
Technology—using new technologies to your advantage in practice

This conference has been offered to pharmacy residents since 1996 and has been well received by past participants who have found the information invaluable to their career. Comments from previous residents include, “This was a very good program. All of the speakers were wonderful and I got information I will use in my career and personal life.”

Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. This knowledge-based educational activity is being offered at no charge to residents and is approved for 3 hours of continuing pharmacy education credit and is supported by an educational donation from Amgen.
